Which fan-favourite child genius said it?

Sheldon Cooper is a global phenomenon. The iconic character was introduced back in 2007 on CBS' The Big Bang Theory.

Known for his acute intelligence, Sheldon's strict life ethics, lack of emotional maturity and robotic behaviour accounted for hilarious and equal parts awkward moments throughout the show. And in the process, he unknowingly gathered millions of fans across the globe.

Although fictional, the character kept passionate fans wondering how this nerdy genius survived an 80s Texan childhood. And along came the creators with an answer, a spinoff show called Young Sheldon focusing on Sheldon Cooper's Texan childhood raising and his family as they deal with everyday mishaps of living with a 'Sheldon'.

Turning the clock back to Sheldon's school days, the writers did a phenomenal job transporting viewers back to the time of iconic rock music, Jesus and barbecue. The show provides a lot of narrative as to why old Sheldon is whatever he is.

With a watchful protector in his mother, fans witness a cute, harmless-looking young Sheldon achieving anything and everything while offending everyone he stumbles upon. And as much he likes to worship his sharp brain and sky-high IQ, the 10-year-old Texan did meet his match in Paige Swanson.

Appearing as a recurring character, Paige is a fan-favourite, and even though her screen-time is limited, she possesses a really high intellect comparable to Sheldon. And just like Sheldon, she possesses the gift of eidetic memory and is full of facts and knowledge. She often embarrassed Sheldon with her wits and class.

Here's a quiz to celebrate this unique dynamic. Can you tell which child genius dropped these iconic quotes? Was it the mighty Sheldon or her likeable and quirky counterpart Paige?

1. "I Love Being Smarter Than Everyone Else."
