He may have found himself in another spot of bother recently - being charged with aggravated DWI among other things after being arrested on March 26 - but this has only added to the unpredictable legend of Jon 'Bones' Jones.

Becoming the youngest Champion in UFC history back in March 2011, Jones' natural arrogance slowly began to surface with each successful defence of his belt.

After all, when you're being referred to as the GOAT on a week to week basis by Dana White himself it's surely going to go to your head, right?

As expected, Jones became more and more brash as the wins added up and he even confessed to seriously partying and drinking for nights on end in the lead up to his titanic battle with Alexander Gustaffson at UFC 165.

This care-free attitude and confidence in himself set Jones apart as a standout attraction in the company. He was an enigma. A talent whose biggest rival seemed to be himself.

Jones' consistent ability to thoroughly patronise and get under the skin of his adversaries also made him box office in a press conference. But, it was his spinning back elbows, explosive takedowns and ridiculously high pain threshold in the cage which lead to him often being regarded as the undisputed king in the company.

He'll be the first to admit that he lives life on the edge, however there's no denying that Jones will be remembered as one of the most charismatic forces we ever witnessed in the world of MMA.
