UFC 247 Predictions

While UFC 247 might be a little light on the sort of exciting match-ups we've become accustomed to recently, there are still some standouts on the main card, with the heavyweight battle between Derrick Lewis and Ilir Latifi being relatively high on that list.

Latifi has spent his entire time inside the UFC competing at light heavyweight, but has decided to move up a weight class and take on the big boys. At five-foot-ten, the Swede is one of the shortest, if not the shortest, heavyweight on the roster, but has proven that he possesses some very heavy hands. He'll need every bit of power he has against someone as durable as Lewis.

The Black Beast will tower over Latifi and has shown numerous times during his UFC run that he only needs one shot to finish the fight. Although he won his last fight via split decision, the 35-year old showed some improvement and versatility in his game that makes him even scarier than before.

Even though Latifi's move up to heavyweight might be a good move for his career in the long run, someone as powerful as Lewis should be a bit too much for him in his debut in a weight class.
