10 Most Rewatchable Doctor Who Episodes

8. The Power Of The Doctor

The Power of the Doctor aired seven months ago. We're far enough out of the window of recency bias now, so yeah: this is a cracking episode of Doctor Who.

For the many cameos alone, this is worth watching over and over again: the surprise appearances of David Bradley, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Paul McGann as their respective Doctors; Sophie Aldred and Janet Fielding kicking ass as Ace and Tegan; and not to mention that companion support group at the end!

Plus, Sacha Dhawan gave such a brilliant performance as the Master (to the point that he actually upstaged Jodie Whittaker), and, most importantly, provided such an unhinged dance routine that even the Daleks and Cybermen questioned his sanity.

And how about that regeneration - the music, the effects, the familiar teeth. What a belter!

The Power of the Doctor is an episode of moments. Is the core plot revolutionary? Not really - it's mostly technobabbly nonsense. But there are at least four or five scenes here that rank among the most memorable in the show, moments that don't lose their power even on subsequent viewings.
