1 Up & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 12)

Just one match on a two hour wrestling show as the fallout from Slammiversary begins. Sort of.

Despite coming off the back of a truly outstanding Slammiversary pay-per-view last Sunday, it feels as if all the momentum gained from that show has been immediately lost. This week's episode of Impact was nothing more than a two hour show of Josh Mathews, Don Callis, and various guests speaking about the events of the aforementioned event.

Why though?

That sort of content should be saved for a YouTube show, or perhaps even something on Impact Plus. But instead, they wasted two hours of our lives by making predictions for the future, such as Moose possibly heading into the World Championship scene, and if we'll see any more male vs. female rivalries after the Slammiversary main event between Tessa Blanchard and Sami Callihan.

While there was one match on the show - a three way between Jordynne Grace, Kiera Hogan, and Madison Rayne - it unquestionably wasn't enough to make up for the fact that the rest was, for the most part, abysmal.

Nothing noteworthy really happened whatsoever this week but either way, let's get to it...
