Downs...

4. Alicia Fox Sake

On last week’s episode, Alicia Fox’s womanly hormones got the better of her. Rescuing her stalker, Noam Dar (!), from much-deserved punishment at the hands of her now ex-boyfriend, Cedric Alexander, she pitched a fit in the backstage area when Alexander broke off their relationship.

In an unintentionally hilarious scene, she destroyed the backstage area, screaming “NO!” at the top of her voice. “No-one breaks up with me!” she cried. “No-one breaks up with me! Cedric! Cedric!” she roared, flailing about the place as if strung by a drunken puppeteer.

If it were possible, her acting was even worse this week. As Alexander brushed her off at ringside prior to the opening match, she stamped her feet and threw a tantrum. Her role is that of a bunny-boiling psycho, on paper - but in execution, she plays a toddler whose mother has told her off. “He’s being mean!” she whined.

Austin Aries had no words. What could he say? He instead muttered something about how Dar should receive one of his slaps, if he likes them so much, after Fox walloped him in the backstage area. He could be forgiven for putting himself over. It was impossible to portray anybody involved in that segment in a positive light.
