1 Up & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sept 30)

4. How Many Stips?

Andrade El Idolo 10 Dark Order
AEW

10 of The Dark Order will wrestle Andrade El Idolo on next week's episode of Rampage. Apparently, that wasn't enough for Tony Khan. Look, trying to add some stakes to a match is fine, but TK just went all Vince Russo from WCW in 2000 by ramming as many stipulations down fan throats as he could.

Check this out.

If Andrade wins, then 10 must unmask. Should 10 come out on top though, then El Idolo must "leave AEW forever". Oh, that old chestnut. Andrade barely has anything going on in the company of any note anyway, so this doesn't quite hit the way All Elite bosses want it to.

Two stips is overkill for a thrown-together match like this one. Keep in mind this isn't coming at the end of some red hot, protracted story. No, AEW just threw a soft 'Mask vs. Career' stip at fans for a bout between two guys who have barely been feuding with any sustained momentum.

Great.
