5. Where’s The Threat?

Nyla Rose is just the latest in a long line of workers AEW has lined up for Jade Cargill to knock down. The problem? Few genuinely believe that Rose has the chops to take that TBS Title from Jade. It's not even clear if those putting this feud together behind the scenes believe in it.

That means it's second-rate.

Cargill drips star power and potential, but her challengers have had a tough time matching that. Even Athena, who has years of WWE work behind her and is technically a bigger deal than Jade, struggled to meet her halfway. Christ, it's so obvious that this company doesn't know what to do with Cargill anymore.

Here's a mini-positive in amongst all the negativity - Cargill vs. Rose will be a fun power vs. power series, but that's all. Nyla doesn't seem like the right choice to take Jade's belt away, and cutting Cargill's dominance short for a background rivalry sounds rubbish.
