10 2020 Moments WWE Must NEVER Do Again

2. Goldberg Squashes A Fresh Act

This is hardly the most original whinge, but it's valid.

In 2021, Goldberg cannot stomp his way back onto WWE TV, target a current star (like Drew McIntyre) and then run over the top of them like it's 22 September 1997, he's debuting on Nitro and is across the ring from Bill DeMott. It'd be painful enough if he gave Bray Wyatt another kicking, but it'd be inconceivable if he toppled Drew for the WWE Title.

Nah, surely that won't happen. Then again, did anyone think WWE were foolish enough to believe Goldberg's second stint as Universal Champ would help SmackDown soar in early-2020? They booked that, so perhaps another 'World Title' run isn't out of the question.

The same holds true even if gold isn't in the equation; Goldberg has had his day, and he should not be running rampant over anyone of any value in 2021. That'd be a massive mistake, and it could be a costly one if someone like McIntyre is involved.
