10 Absolute Best Matches WWE Can Promote In 2019

3. WWE Four Horsewomen Vs. UFC Four Horsewomen

The only dilemma facing this blockbuster of a match, something WWE has foreshadowed for years and as recently as this week, is that time is against us.

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir are as green as Nia Jax, only, they have an excuse, having just undertaken their training last year. Scant onscreen evidence of their progression has offered mixed results; their Evolution cameo was as perfectly-timed as it was shocking, but, understandably, recent efforts on NXT TV were very much works in progress. We have seen an aptitude, at least, but by the time they resemble workers in their own right, Ronda Rousey won’t be there.

But, if given the smoke and mirrors treatment, at Fastlane, there’s so much going for it: a big fight atmosphere, a real, history-making aura of the sort that would elevate this to greatness before a move is struck, the fact that Ronda Rousey is in it, the suspenseful build towards a blistering—but brief—confrontation between Becky and Ronnie, Shayna Baszler bullying her most sympathetic, even pitiful victim yet in Bayley, the tension intensifying between Becky and Charlotte Flair…

If elements of it are rough, it might still create scope for a rematch, with Duke and Shafir primed in two or three years to redeem the result—or brag that they couldn’t even wrestle when they beat them the first time.
