9. The Boogeyman Vs. Booker T & Sharmell - WrestleMania 22

With the exception of those men unfortunate enough to suffer from acromegaly, The Boogeyman was perhaps the most limited wrestler ever employed by Vince McMahon.

Vince, however, was exceptionally fond of the gimmick, allegedly sneaking up behind talents and screaming Boogey's "I'm comin' to getcha!" catchphrase in their ear before cackling that famous laugh. This might explain why he was afforded a feature match on the biggest show of the year. Booker T was selected as his opponent because his acting was of the incredibly hammy sort - but it was an egregious waste of his talents.

As Booker made his entrance, his own pyro, something he'd heard on a weekly basis for nigh-on five years, spooked him to such an extent that, hilariously, he forced Sharmell to start the match. That was the height of the comedy. The match didn't feature much else beyond Booker wearing Boogeyman down on the ropes. Boogeyman was so poor that it was difficult to determine whether he was meant to be invincible or was just utterly incapable of selling.

As legitimately unsettling as his body language was, Boogeyman's offence was far from terrifying, undermining the character completely. He struck Booker with a series of - well, it's difficult to say. He just sort of pushed him over a few times.

After filling Sharmell's mouth with worms, he struck Booker with - again, it's difficult to say. Tazz called it on the night as a "double choke into, like, a power slam." We'll just go with that.
