10 Absolute Wrestling FREAKS! ?

4. Bob Holly

Bob Holly was the absolute raving nutcase that dyed his mullet blonde, shoot boxed his iron-fisted partner on television just to stay over, fought Al Snow in a river, called out the biggest and baddest on every block for the full duration of his decade+ WWE run, and slapped Cody Rhodes so hard in the face that it's a wonder he had enough of a career to leave behind when he first walked away from the market leader in 2016. A freak like few others.

But it's 2023 as of writing, and the last wrestling incarnation of Bob Holly might have been the freakiest Bob Holly of all the Bob Hollys, and think of the ground that covers. Knocking around the independent circuit knocking around anybody that got in his way, the rude and tattooed former WWE star understood how to parlay his reputation as the angriest man in any locker room into a dual role as token jacked-up killer and ironic throwback babyface.

In a nice full circle moment for the man behind the monikers (though, there apparently wasn't too much distance to travel there), Robert Howard now drives cars for a living. The man that had to morph from a grinning goon whose friends called him Sparky into the meanest and realest-feeling monster of the Attitude Era has morphed back, happily leaving behind the industry in which he beat everybody...even when he wasn't winning the bey-ult.
