10 Absolutely Terrible Songs By Pro Wrestlers

10. The Rock "Pie"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdmS_WBb-Cc The Rock may be The Great One, The People€™s Champ, and the biggest action star on the planet, but that doesn€™t mean he hasn€™t given the world's eardrums one big People€™s Elbow. Rock gave us a song that should have never checked out of The SmackDown hotel. On WWF The Music, Volume 5, The Rock closed out the album with a song about going to get some pie from a bakery. The song was simply called €œPie." It's a weird mixture of gospel music and rap, and should not be listened to anyone, ever, under any circumstances. Except for right now for the sake of this article. Now, for those over the age of 10, we know that The Rock isn€™t singing about an actual pie in "Pie." Just wanted to get that out there. So what makes it quite strange is that The Rock raps about having sexual relations with someone's grandmother in his own song. I mean, to each their own, but I don€™t quite understand bragging about it. However, that wasn€™t even the worst part as Rock left us with a wildly offensive impression of a Chinese person when he proudly exclaimed:
Ching-bong-bing-yao-moya-AIYYYYY! Dat good pie
What the hell was that? Someone needs to go to sensitivity training. Please Rock, stick to acting, or wrestling, or whatever else it is you do in your free time. The people, your people are begging you never to rap again!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
