4. Best Original Song - Glorious Domination, CFO$
Bobby Roode, spluttering through basic backstage promos in a drastically unsuitable babyface role, is about as Glorious as a Randy Orton chinlock in 2018 at present - and since he's about to succumb to one on Sunday, his future prospects aren't Glorious, either. It's almost impossible to remember that he is in fact the United States Champion.
Much as Road Dogg has accidentally stripped Roode of that Gloriousness, he will never - unless he petitions to change it, which he's dense enough to do - strip Roode's entrance theme of its awesomeness. The sense of expectation built with the balls-out, thunderous piano ripple is a very ambitious opening gambit, setting the ludicrous level to a firm and instant 9. CFO$ level up to 10 instantly as a metal choir singer barks out "GLORIOUS!", which in itself is a ludicrous adjective to describe even a pro wrestler. It is the aural translation of arrogance - a sentiment literally amplified with a dual crunching and wailing guitar riff.
Honourable Nominee Mention: Terrifying and stupidly epic, Kenny Omega's 'Devil's Sky' theme sounds like a God killing off the villain in a horror movie in a deus ex machina ending.
