There's now an express need to build fresh heel tag teams within AEW following the Lucha Brothers' win over The Young Bucks, who had defeated almost every babyface team of note over the past year or so.

FTR seem like natural Lucha Brothers opponents at some stage, given their shared prestige, though Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have unfinished business with Santana and Ortiz to tend to. With those tandems currently sitting on 1-1, their feud doesn't feel like it's over yet. Expect them to keep occupying each others' time over the coming weeks.

Rather than FTR, the Men of the Year would make good interim opponents for Penta and Fenix. They'll need to build up a few wins, admittedly, having worked only one tag bout since May, but that's easily accomplished across Dynamite, Rampage, Dark, and Elevation, and they'd be a good, beatable team that would provide a great base for the Lucha Brothers' hyper-athletic style.

Penta and Fenix are perfect targets for Dan Lambert's rage, too. Get the American Top Team head to swap his anti-"snowflake" content and go back to complaining about flippydoos and other "soft" styles of wrestling and the material almost writes itself.
