10 AEW Title Changes That MUST Happen In 2023
6. TBS Championship - Ruby Soho
After a few false starts, caused by a combination of weird booking and inopportune injuries, hopefully a new dawn waits for Ruby Soho. She’s connecting well with crowds and back to her best in the ring.
Meanwhile, Jade Cargill has surely done everything she can with the TBS Championship. This, then, would be the perfect time to close off the lineage of the women’s secondary belt by replaying the initial tournament’s final with a different ending.
The person who finally beats Jade will get a real rub, and few are more deserving than Soho, criminally underutilised in WWE and due a proper push. With her experience and versatility, she could offer a different kind of match to the charismatic but green (sometimes literally) current champion.
As for Jade, while she’s far from the finished product, there’s no denying her star quality, and mixing it up with the women at the top of the card would surely help her development no end. This would be a proper win-win.
