10 AEW Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2024

9. Anthony Bowens

Acclaimed fans are not going to like this, but the chap writing this piece believes Anthony Bowens will be the surprise solo star spinning out of that tag-team. Sure, Max Caster has his witty rhymes and is an accomplished worker himself, but there's just something more magnetic about Bowens overall.

Anthony's also a positive role model for younger viewers. However, and this is pretty important, he hasn't let sexuality dominate his entire on-screen character. No, that's only part of Bowens make-up - the catchphrase machine's love of pro wrestling shines through first and foremost.

Plus, he's underrated in-ring and has shown that during select solo outings over the years away from the tag ranks. 2024 could (and should) be a mammoth year for Anthony. Ideally, AEW would avoid the usual tag split and feud with Caster by actually having Max show support for his pal.

They can keep teaming on and off between Bowens' solo dates.
