10 AEW Wrestlers To Jump Ship RIGHT NOW

1. Chris Jericho

Now this could be divisive.

Chris Jericho's appearances on AEW TV are accompanied by boos instead of singing these days. The core fanbase is bloody sick of him, and no amount of pretence that Jericho deliberately courted that reaction as an out of touch heel can cover it up. He's become a hindrance to the weekly product, not a help.

The legend has always been outspoken against ever going back to the past and reprising his 'Y2J' role. However, Jericho has reprised his 'Lionheart' guise more than once, so he can't be totally against turning the clock back. It'd likely be best for everyone if he enjoyed one last hurrah in WWE before hanging up the boots.

Naturally, he's the one who makes that call, and no internet writer has the right to decide it for him. This internet writer can, however, open his ears to hear that AEW's audience would like Jericho to move on. One more nostalgic blast in WWE and then onto the next; whether that's retirement or select matches elsewhere on his terms is obviously up to him.
