10 AEW Wrestlers Tony Khan Has Totally Wasted

If some wrestling fanatics out there are unhappy that Samoa Joe didn't get a run as WWE World Champ, then those same folks are positively livid that Rusev didn't bag one. He once seemed like a can't-miss prospect for WWE's headline pack, but poor Ru was released due to budget cuts in April 2020.

He was ready to go anyway.

TK's eyes must've lit up when he got word that Miro was a free agent and available to sign. So thrilled was Tony, in fact, that he instantly drummed up a hot debut idea for the guy. Nah, just kidding. Miro was introduced as the best man for Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford's wedding on the 9 September 2020 Dynamite.

That ridiculously-tepid intro set the tone for much of Miro's AEW run to date. Sure, he's shown glimmers of hope every so often (mainly when TNT Champ), but things have been very stop/start and disappointing for the 'Redeemer' since signing on the dotted line.
