10 AEW Wrestlers Who Are In Big Trouble

3. Scorpio Sky

Wardlow TNT Title
AEW

Scorpio Sky last wrestled on AEW programming all the way back in July, with the former TNT Champion dropping his strap to Wardlow.

Since then, the former SCU performer has been recovering from a knee injury, admittedly. But said spell on the sidelines actually came to an end recently. Though, you'd be forgiven for not being aware of that, given the fact Sky has been missing on AEW TV for months.

Despite being available for "quite some time", as Fightful would report last month, AEW still haven't been able to land on any creative plans for the skilled performer who finally seemed poised for a decent singles run upon picking up his first solo title for the promotion in March.

He was even said to have filmed some content at a Dynamite taping over the summer, but said footage was ultimately scrapped, and Sky is still without any obvious way back into the mix at time of writing.

Perhaps a babyface comeback feud opposite former Men of the Year partner Ethan Page could help both men establish themselves as credible future World title contenders at some point in 2023. But the longer Sky stays off TV, the more questions will inevitably be asked about the star's uncertain future in The Land of All Elite.
