10 AEW Wrestlers WWE Should Fear The Most

Joey Janela presents a not inconsiderable threat to WWE, which might read as odd, given that he was one of very few Indy starlets not to have been linked to the company's vast warehouse of talent.

Janela has that devil in him. That devil leads him astray into matches utterly unhinged in the danger element - an element prohibited in WWE. This is crucial in presenting AEW as a genuine, different proposition in its own complexion, too. So much of WWE is homogenised, particularly the regimented match layouts. Janela's deranged death dances will complement Cody's traditional storytelling, Kenny Omega's out of this world athleticism, and the comedy element provided by the Best Friends et al. as part of AEW's all-out assault to build an eclectic audience receptive to freedom of expression. WWE exists to please an audience of one; AEW's mission statement is the something-for-everyone gambit, and Janela's "something" is something WWE would never consider, spiralling ratings or no.

Janela is also a modern wrestling genius in his hilarious/heartwarming approach to banter nostalgia. Various AEW personnel have all but confirmed a collaborative working environment.

Janela's input will create something you never knew you wanted.
