10 All Out Mistakes AEW Can't Afford To Repeat At Full Gear

6. Have A Word With Jim Ross

Jim Ross had a nightmare at All Out, and it seems as though somebody has had a word in the weeks since.

He seemed more delighted at the prospect of an exposed breast then virtually every aerial manoeuvre. This was JR's trademark Twitter erection pressing up against the pay-per-view broadcast. He is a dirty old man, shamelessly so. "Lighten up, Francis, it's not like I got it out and furiously molested myself, quite frankly" is his usual non-apology, but he has even less of a defence for his total inability to give himself into women's wrestling. Even when it's great, and that greatness should come as no surprise, he is surprised. "This is actually good, but they're women!" is what he almost literally says.

At All Out, his poor application to Women's wrestling undermined Hikaru Shida Vs. Thunder Rosa. Rosa kicked out of the Falcon Arrow at one. This spot was designed to get her over as a champion despite her losing a championship match. Ross, who wouldn't have shrugged so dismissively, had Orange Cassidy nope'd the Judas Effect, called it like an abdominal stretch. He, simply, did not take it seriously.

He has given a better account of himself lately. But four hours is a lot of time through which to maintain his discipline.

Somebody needs to get tough on the headset.
