10 Amazing Stories Behind One-Off WWE Attires
1. Mick Foley Forever!
When Cactus Jack plummeted through the cell at No Way Out 2000 at the hands of Triple H, it was the absolute last we'd seen of him. This didn't apply to Mick Foley however.
Numerous comebacks would follow, but the first saw him emerge for one absolutely last, promise, match as part of WrestleMania 2000's main event. Though it'd piddle all over the previous month's stipulation, it was hard to deny a man who'd given so much of his body to the business this one last glorious moment in the spotlight.
Still, ever the traditionalist, Foley lampshaded his retirement reversal by emerging not quite as Cactus Jack, but a Legion-like mélange of his three most famous faces. The typical red flannel was now blue, referencing Dude Love, and instead of the usual 'Wanted: Dead' shirt, he wore the rarely seen 'Forever Cactus Jack' merch. It sent the perfect message that, this time, it was goodbye (though this being wrestling, it obviously wasn't).
