7. Triple H's Tour De Farce
Precisely a year after Triple H laughed in the face of best-bud Shawn Michaels' hideous taupe travesty (well you would, wouldn't you?), The Game experienced a wardrobe catastrophe of his own ahead of his championship slog against Goldberg.
Completely unlike anything he had previously worn, Hunter stomped down to the ring at Dallas' American Airlines Center in a frankly ridiculous set of what looked like cycling shorts. Was this a tacit way of openly mocking the man about to beat him for his World Heavyweight Championship - or otherwise a way of stealing the spotlight in defeat?
It certainly accomplished the latter, but that (probably) wasn't the intention. Owing to a nasty groin injury suffered against the same opponent a month earlier, Triple H required custom-made three-quarters just so he could move about the ring quicker than a lazy snail, with production staff having to help him get dressed. Given the general glacial pace of his post-2010 output, perhaps he should have worn the shorts more often?
