10 Amazing Wrestlers WWE Fans Will NEVER Love

7. Colt Cabana (Scotty Goldman)

Scotty. F'n. Goldman.

Revisit any of that character's appearances on SmackDown between 2008-2009 and you'll see nothing that made Colt Cabana a walking treasure in ROH and elsewhere on the independent wrestling scene. His quirky promos and squash match losses screamed 1980s enhancement talent, and that was never going to get over.

Being brutally honest, Colt was set up to fail in WWE. His zany personality was watered down, and he wasn't allowed to show what a true talent he can be between the ropes either. Basically, he was the living, breathing antithesis of everything Vince McMahon wanted in a "WWE Superstar", and it's baffling that he was even shunted onto telly this way in the first place.

Cabana was able to spread his wings outside the restrictive WWE environment though, at least. That doesn't change the fact that he won't get another chance to show the promotion's wider audience what he's capable of.
