10 Amazing Wrestlers WWE Fans Will NEVER Love

5. JBL

This writer can almost see the bubbling anger when some clap eyes on JBL's name. He routinely pops up when people discuss the "worst WWE Champions ever", and he's become a well-known backstage bully who needed put in his place by Joey Styles (of all people) many moons ago.

None of that changes his inclusion on this list; JBL was fabulous in the arrogant heel champ role throughout 2004-2005, and he had some absolute classics with one Eddie Guerrero. Will he ever get love from most pro wrasslin' fans out there though? Will he b*llocks.

Layfield isn't well-liked or well-respected as a worker by countless folks.

Do yourself a favour at some point. Fire up WWE Network/Peacock and watch some of his promos as WWE Champ. Then, after witnessing those searing heat-fests, watch his bouts vs. Guerrero and John Cena. This is a guy who knew his role, and he played it to the hilt.

That isn't enough to earn him plaudits from many critics.
