Vince Russo loved the word "sh*t". He loved it.

He believed it to hold significant power - power to put himself over as a total game-changer, bro, the guy who literally could change the foundations of the business forever, bro. When he first appeared onscreen in NWA:TNA, in a swerve segment, naturally, Mike Tenay was instructed to describe this as the most shocking thing to have ever happened. Anywhere, bro.

"OH SH*T, IT'S VINCE RUSSO!" Tenay screamed at the top of his lungs, perhaps channelling a very real feeling of fright.

Russo also used the word "sh*t" when the prawduct needed to get edgier, to get cooler. And so, on the most infamous episode of the most infamous wrestling show ever, the May 3, 2000 Thunder, Ric Flair had the following to say to Russo, when Russo tried to play the hard man as leader of the New Blood faction.

"Have you really taken time to take a look at who you’re talking to, dipsh*t?"

"Dipsh*t" is a fabulous word, and so fabulous in its clinical takedown of the essence of Russo that it can only be inferred that Flair popped the boys with it.
