10 Atrocious WWE Matches That Were Unintentionally Funny
7. Kaitlyn vs. Maxine
It's difficult to fathom what WWE was trying to do with the original NXT sometimes. Nominally a training camp for future superstars, it became a complete farce from day one with the likes of Ryback and Wade Barrett doing hurdle sprints and cutting promos about wind and lollipops. At least we got The Nexus out of it, one supposes. By the time the 3rd season- a Divas only season- came around, it had passed beyond all credibility, seemingly being used to embarrass talent and push Michael Cole as an annoying twit. Quite why this needed pushing, you'll never know. This now infamous match between Kaitlyn and Maxine is one of the worst matches you're ever likely to see, featuring more botches than a Sid Vicious promo. It was so bad, Vince decided to instruct Cole to take a fake phone call during the match and focus cameras on him rather than the ring. On one hand, you do feel for the two suffering in the ring but on the other hand, the botches are so dreadful it's car-crash TV to observe!
