10 Attitude Era Elements WWE Must Copy Today

7. Break Away From The Monotonous

The monotony of the current WWE product is undeniable.

Every show looks the same, they're formatted the same and they feature the same faces each and every week.

An in-ring promo almost inevitably kicks off the broadcast and if it does not feature The Authority, another McMahon or the Heavyweight Champion, it is a miracle of sorts.

Good guys and bad guys trade wins back and forth with little advancement made on either side, thus all involved come off looking mediocre rather than legitimate stars.

The commentary shills every product imaginable except what is actually going on inside the squared circle and the result is a wealth of matches that are both meaningless and heatless.

Breaking free from the staleness of the shows is the surest way to reinvigorate your audience and create a sense of excitement surrounding the product.

The Attitude Era rescued WWE from the doldrums, as much aesthetically as it did from a content standpoint. The edginess of The War Zone and the introduction of the Titan Tron were game-changers.

It is time for the extraordinary production team under Vince McMahon's rule to change things up, to catch the eye of the audience, and for WWE Creative to shake up the format.
