Rumours are flying that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is in training for a comeback and wants to have one final match at WrestleMania. If the rumors are true, this would be Austin's first wrestling appearance for World Wrestling Entertainment since WrestleMania XIX when he lost to the Rock in his retirement match. Steve Austin is the biggest star in the history of professional wrestling. He helped bring the wrestling business to heights that no one ever thought possible and became a pop culture icon in the process. He filled arenas all over the country and redefined what a babyface wrestler could be. Quite simply, Steve Austin is the biggest draw and biggest superstar that WWE has even seen. However, you can't bring someone the caliber of Steve Austin back in a nothing match. Putting him in the ring with someone like the Miz would do absolutely nothing for the show and only serve to disappoint fans. You need to put Austin in the main event mix in a hurry. Now obviously, Austin is not coming back to work a full-time schedule. He probably only has one more match left in him and he wants it to be his swan song. So you need to craft the perfect angle for Austin's return. Something that will make fans nostalgic while also introducing Steve to a new generation of fans.
