10 Awesome Angles For Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Return

5. Steve Austin And Dean Ambrose Vs Seth Rollins And Randy Orton

The newest version of the WWE rebel character is Dean Ambrose. The former Shield member has really made a name for himself, especially since Roman Reigns was put on the shelf with an injury. Ambrose has the "It Factor" that separates superstars from midcarders and seems destined for bigger and better things. Ambrose is even rebelling against authority, much like a legendary rebel did before him. What better way for Ambrose to be endorsed as the new generation's version of Steve Austin than to team with Steve Austin himself? Ambrose would be able to embrace the raising Hell / take no prisoners aspect of his character and pair that with Austin's rebelliousness and mayhem. If you teamed Austin with Ambrose, you are guaranteeing a crowd reaction to Ambrose that hasn't been seen yet. You're also ensuring that Austin is able to work a long match without having to be in ring shape like it's 1999. Austin can tag in for the big spots and comebacks while Ambrose can work the bulk of the match and get heat on the heels. Rollins and Orton would also ensure that the match had great pacing and solid work, allowing the babyface side to work the crowd and build to a finish. While a tag match is certainly not what people picture when they imagine a Steve Austin return, it may actually be the most effective way to use him.
