2. Big Damo Calls Out Rampage Whilst Finishing Joe Hendry

The Ringside Perspective/WCPW

Away from all the hilarity, Big Damo vs. Joe Hendry was serious business. A match against Rampage Brown to determine the first ever WCPW Champion was the prize, something both men were keenly aware of. Once the pleasantries had been dispensed and 'Adele' faded, the match itself was on.

Notable spots included some involvement from Jack The Jobber. Acting as a Guest Enforcer of sorts for the main event, Jack interjected to count a near fall once referee Sean McLaughlin suffered a nasty bump.

Neither a Hendry Fall-Away Slam nor Damo's big boot planting a steel chair into Joe's skull could get the job done. Both moves only warranted a count of two from the stand-in ref. That's when Big Damo decided that enough was enough.

Hitting his vicious finisher, akin to a sit down Powerbomb, Damo called out the name of Rampage before delivering the move. That was satisfying, because it sold the importance of the upcoming bout for the WCPW Championship.

Hendry gave as good as he got, and was a worthy opponent, but Damo's collision with Rampage promises to be epic.
