10 Awesome Things You Don't Remember About WWE's Attitude Era

3. The DX Invasion (Part II & III)

The DX Invasion of WCW is one of the defining moments of The Attitude Era. Triple H and his DX Army drove a tank from Hampton, Virginia to Norfolk only nineteen miles away where WCW were holding Monday Nitro that night. What very few people don't remember is what happened the following two weeks. The second week was fairly uneventful as DX took a trip to WCW Headquarters, it's what happened in the third week that's truly a great lost moment of The Attitude Era. D-Generation X are at an airfield located "at a clandestine airport somewhere in North America" and Triple H has his greatest plan yet. Later in that night, we cut to shots of an fighter jet whizzing through the sky, and a shot of the pilot with his face completely covered by his helmet and breathing apparatus. Triple H gives a voiceover, implying that the pilot is him, and drops a ton of innuendos such as "cockpit" before apparently writing WCW SUCKS, DX RULES in the sky. It's not the craziest thing to happen in The Attitude Era, but it is crazy more people don't seem to know about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG5e3J1wnd0
