4. Chris Jericho Will Turn Heel
It’s fair to say that Chris Jericho hasn’t had the strongest of years so far.
The “Demo God” has swung and missed with his attempts to get “GFY” anywhere close to being as over as some of his more memorable catchphrases, and his new ‘Influencer’ gimmick isn’t faring much better.
With Santana and Ortiz on the verge of calling it quits from The Inner Circle after siding with Eddie Kingston in his and Jericho’s feud, it seems inevitable that this incarnation of Jericho is due to end along with it.
Fans of “The Painmaker” shouldn’t fret, however. Chris Jericho is the master of reinvention for a reason, and there is nobody in the business who does heelwork quite like the former “Y2J”.
Could The Inner Circle’s impending team meeting on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite lead to a group beatdown on the former AEW Champion? Could a frustrated Jericho beat Proud & Powerful to the punch and unleash a little hell of his own? He is Judas, after all (in his mind, at least).
