10 Awesome Times Wrestlers Learned From Their Mistakes

5. Mr. Perfect's Last Cool Wrestling Moment

Mr. Perfect alongside Bret Hart is an uncredited architect behind the WWF survival of the early to mid 1990s.

He was a consummate professional wrestler in the cartoon sports entertainment world, and when the novelty of that world faded as a generation of future millennials moved on, those that didn't stuck around because they had fallen in love with the craft at which Perfect excelled.

His brief 2002 return is only really remembered for the shock nostalgic charm of his surprise entry in the Royal Rumble match, but beyond some far-better-on-paper matches against the likes of Steve Austin, Edge and Rob Van Dam, he worked a mini hidden gem Heat against Rikishi on the eve of WrestleMania X8.

Perfect learned the lesson every unfortunate soul before him did not: by placing his trademark towel gimmick over his face - with customary perfect timing, just look at that GIF - he avoided the full extent of Rikishi's stinky ar*ehole. That's a disgusting way of putting it, but then, it was a disgusting spot.

This, conversely, was a shameless sports entertainment bit.

He was perfect at that, too.
