10 Awesome Times Wrestlers Learned From Their Mistakes

3. Road Dogg Wears A Cup

You know, to protect his f*ckin' cack.

Chyna's trademark low blow was a massively over spot in the Attitude Era. She wasn't a gifted athlete, or technical wrestler, but was a far more capable worker than her detractors might suggest. She knew exactly how to register the impending doom of a shot right to the balls - a familiar, sickening pain to the men that mostly watched RAW.

In a King of the Ring tournament match that while going too long did make super-dramatic use of the various seconds embroiled in the remnants of the D-Generation X fallout, Chyna took advantage of the distraction to blast Road Dogg in the balls - only to crumple to the mat and sell her hand. The Road Dogg had learned the painful lessons his peers hadn't, and worn a cup as a strategy. This made him less dumb than AJ Styles in 2018, which in fairness isn't exactly difficult. Only just, mind. It's not unlike attempting to work out whether Homer Simpson or Chief Wiggum is the stupidest Simpsons character.

Even better: Road Dogg, sensing optics for the first time in his life, didn't dry hump Chyna before executing the falling pump-handle slam.
