2. The NXT Horsewomen: Broke The Stigma

Bayley, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte Flair will all be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame someday, perhaps together, having each played a massive role in dragging women's wrestling in WWE out of the Divas era's doldrums and into the future.

Dubbed NXT's Four Horsewomen, their superior drive, workrate, and performances created a movement. NXT Rival's four-way was a big, important step in this, and the Banks vs. Bayley feud even moreso. Their TakeOver: Brooklyn clash still stands as one of the finest in NXT history. It was the ultimate, emotional highpoint for a scene on the rise and while Bayley stuck around in NXT in the aftermath of her three cohorts' elevation that summer, the others continued their important work on the main roster.

Lynch, Flair, and Banks contested a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 32. The old Divas Championship was scrapped that night, replaced by a new Women's Title, marking another important step as the scene surged back towards respectability. This meant something. It'd take a while longer for the stigma to be completely eradicated, but it may not have happened without the Horsewomen.
