Only staunch NXT devotees will have caught this one, but cherry-pickers and developmental brand-neglectors missed an awesome sprint between two unheralded teams who never fail to make the most of their limited televised opportunities.

Burch and Lorcan have had an excellent year. Though TakeOver: Chicago II's blitz of a Tag Team Title match with Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly will go down as the highlight, they always go all-out to stand out, no matter the situation. Burch's recent shot at United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne on NXT UK was fantastic. Lorcan remains WWE's most breathtaking sprinter, even if his 2018 hasn't yielded a bout as compelling as last year's with Drew McIntyre. Together, they're even stronger, whipping up frenzied three-minuters that never fail to finish among the show's biggest highlights, even on story-heavy weeks.

They met two like-minded madmen in Carrillo and Mendoza in late October, putting forth a whirling maelstrom of a scrap that accomplished more in 3:15 than most tag teams would with five times that. Not a second is wasted as they race to victory. Everything is done with the intent of winning. The pace is relentless. It's all that modern wrestling should be, and they'd surely kill it on a big TakeOver stage.
