10 Awesome Wrestling Moves That Nobody Ever Talks About

4. The Steiner Brothers' Doomsday DDT

Meme culture is a fun and vital escape from the horrors of the modern world, but it's a pyrrhic victory over the objects of satire: earnestness is the key, and it's something meme culture has beaten out of us. Donald Trump is in fact playing 5D chess.

F*ck meme culture.

F*ck meme culture also for warping the perception too many fans have of Scott Steiner as a slapstick mathematician who once wrestled one of the most boring matches ever with Triple H. This is a long, ongoing crusade on this author page: Scott Steiner was once absolutely magnificent at pulverising wimps and hard-nuts alike in the confines of a pro wrestling ring. He was an innovator, a killer, and he wore sublime, neon wrestling gear that in itself can transport you back to a more innocent time.

He also devised a stunningly ridiculous finish in tandem with brother Rick. The Doomsday DDT was an invitation to head trauma, and because it was Scott Steiner, there was no declining it: an incredibly dangerous bump from an incredibly dangerous angle, this demented spin on an already demented Road Warriors finish could only emerge from the mind of a mad genius.

Chances of death drastically go up.
