10 Awesome Wrestling Moves WWE Must Bring Back

1. The Piledriver

For old-school fans, there is only one move that they want to see back on WWE TV: the piledriver. The piledriver was banned along with the vetebreaker, the punt and various suplex variations to reduce the risk of neck injuries. The move is potentially devastating and many wrestlers have suffered severe neck injuries after being on the receiving end of one that went wrong, most famously Steve Austin at the hands of Owen Hart at SummerSlam 1997. Few moves have the impact of the piledriver, as simple as it is, but it does take somebody especially safe to pull it off and it should be saved for big match occasions. CM Punk brought the piledriver out of retirement in his classic match with John Cena on the February 25th 2013 Raw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkS6ChB9rrA Of course, this was unauthorised and sent Vince McMahon crazy backstage. But it was safe, done by two total pros, the crowd loved it and it showed Punk's desperation to win the match. On occasions like this, the piledriver could be a huge asset.
