9. AJ Styles - Spinal Tap
In truth, I could have made this entire article simply just 10 Awesome Moves That AJ Styles Doesn't Do Anymore and, well, I know this because I literally did do 10 Awesome Moves That AJ Styles Doesn't Do Anymore. I've limited myself to just two here though and, frankly, where is my medal.
The Spinal Tap though, was, for a very long time, probably the most impressive thing in his entire arsenal. In fact, it's a move that's so impressively performed that it's actually hard to verbally explain it without the use of both hands and a protractor. From the top rope, he tumbles 540 degrees forward whilst, simultaneously, 180 degrees on his side axis... maybe?... before landing in a Senton or sorts.
Now, it's probably self-explanatory that 28-year-old AJ Styles favourite move isn't something you're likely to see 43-year-old AJ Styles hitting on the reg. But, given the level of performance (and athleticism) he's still capable of, it's definiely in there somewhere...
