10 Awesome Wrestling PPVs With Only One Bad Match

9. WCW Spring Stampede 1999

Match: Konnan vs. Disco Inferno.

Psst! Fancy being bored to tears when you've paid full price for a WCW pay-per-view? Well, you're in luck, because Disco Inferno and Konnan (who should've had way more chemistry) produced a better sleep aid than anything on the market for almost 10 solid minutes at Spring Stampede 1999.

The fact that this was the only bad match on a show from World Championship Wrestling in 1999 says it all. Even Mikey Whipwreck and Scotty Riggs managed to provoke a stir from the masses in Washington; Disco and K-Dogg though? Nah, barely even an apathetic murmur from the live crowd.

Juventud Guerrera vs. Blitzkrieg was a hot Cruiser-style opener, Hak vs. Bam Bam Bigelow scratched the hardcore itch, DDP became World Champ in the main and WCW generally put on one hell of a show despite clearly starting to go off the rails creatively.

Disco vs. Konnan should've happened on Thunder so nobody saw it.
