When WWE revealed that they were replacing the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View with an entirely new event, a lot of fans figured the company must have something nifty up their sleeves for the month of February. Then, when the promotion unveiled that this new show would be called 'Fast Lane', a lot of eyebrows were raised. At first, WWE did little to explain the name, and a lot of fans were left feeling the title was pretty dull and pedestrian, similar to previous lifeless entries on the calendar such as 'Fatal Four Way' or 'Bragging Rights'. Eventually, the purpose of the title was acknowledged, Fast Lane was related to Wrestlemania, playing into the phrase, 'The Road To Wrestlemania'. Typically, a lot of Pay-Per-Views and heavily criticised nowadays. Many people dislike the lack of genuine main event level talent under WWE contract, feeling the big events come off a little light as a result. The WWE Network has arguably made these events better value for money, but there will still be a lot of criticism aimed at Fast Lane. This article aims to look at some of the more positive moments from WWE's latest supershow, discussing some of the awesome moments fans enjoyed and can take from the event.
