When an event of any kind is around as long as World Wrestling Entertainment's Survivor Series has been, there are destined to be matches and moments that were considerably awesome at the time they aired but, in the years proceeding them, have gone forgotten due to an influx of news matches and moments for fans to celebrate. Throughout the fall extravaganza's near three-decade long existence, the show has been home to some highly controversial moments that have shoved those outstanding matches further into the background.
