10 Awful Wrestling Matches That Stunk Up Arenas

7. Al Snow Vs. Big Boss Man - WWF Unforgiven 1999

The Kennel From Hell match, much like the Ambrose Asylum, is unlikely to disgrace a WWE ring ever again.

The build-up to the match was, to its credit, very unique. The duplicitous Boss Man, under the pretence of settling his dispute with Snow, had killed his dog Pepper and fed it to him during a candlelit dinner in a dingy hotel room. This should have raised a red flag or two, but no matter.

You'd think that Snow would be hell-bent on avenging the loss of his murdered dog, but rather than lay into Boss Man from the off, Snow instead scaled the blue barred cage before nonsensically traversing along the upper walls of the surrounding Cell - purely to facilitate a superplex spot. He was made to look like a moron throughout the entire series.

There were, of course, dogs circling the ringside area between the cages. They were meant to threaten the very existence of the two men in the ring, who did little else other than exchange basic punch and kick combinations - but they simply barked at one another (and pissed on the floor) between looking as disinterested as the live crowd.

The match was such a fiasco that even the infamously deluded Vince Russo has accepted the blame for it in later years.
