10 Awful WWE Ruthless Aggression Gimmicks That Didn't Get Over

2. The Dicks

Does this one really need explaining? In October 2005, a tag team debuted on WWE SmackDown by attacking the Mexicools. This tag team was called The Dicks, and they dressed like Chippendales and consistently lathered themselves in baby oil. Did anyone ever believe that this gimmick was going to be a success?

Tank Toland and Chad Wicks (or James and Chad Dick, for a short while) were talented performers who both languished in WWE developmental for a while, and they surely found themselves wishing they had remained in OVW as they stood tall over Psychosis and Super Crazy on that fateful October night.

Just over a month after The Dicks had arrived on SmackDown they were gone, sent packing after a loss to The Boogeyman in a handicap match.

You can make your own joke about a premature ending here, if you are into that sort of thing.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
