When it comes to pay-per-view events in the world of sports entertainment, there are none bigger than WrestleMania. Over the years, 'The Showcase of the Immortals' has provided fans with some of the most memorable moments in the history of professional wrestling.

That being said, not every segment associated with this illustrious pay-per-view event has been one for the ages. In truth, there are several Wrestlemania moments that would reasonably qualify as hard to watch. Often times, these blunders are downright embarrassing for the participants, so much so that they can even make the viewer feel a bit uncomfortable.

In some cases, these unfortunate instances occur during matches (or are the matches themselves), but there are also plenty of interviews and musical performances to round out the field.

Of course, WrestleMania has been around for around 35 years now, so there is a healthy dose of awkward moments to choose from. However, as we are about to see, there are clearly segments that stand out from the pack in terms of sheer awkwardness.

Time to screw your toes into your shoes as we relive ten of the most cringe-worthy moments in WrestleMania history.

10. WrestleMania VI: Mary Tyler Moore Interview

Back in 1990, at WrestleMania VI, MIC-MAN Sean Mooney spotted actress Mary Tyler Moore ringside and decided to drop by for a quick interview.

The segment got off to a decent enough start as Mooney decided to ask questions like, 'having a good time at 'WrestleMania VI ?' However, the announcer made the mistake of asking specific questions about the Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine—aka Rhythm & Blues.

Based on the responses and expression on her face, it soon became apparent that Moore had absolutely no idea who either wrestler was. Clearly caught off guard by the line of questioning, the Dick Van Dyke Show star responded with one-word answers in what turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable WrestleMania interviews ever.
