8. Beef With Matt Riddle
Former WWE United States Champion Matt Riddle is known for finding himself in trouble by running his mouth. He managed to piss off wrestlers like Brock Lesnar and Goldberg over the years, but things were a bit different with Seth Rollins as it he got on The Visionary's crosshairs due to some comments Riddle's ex-wife made about Rollins' wife, Becky Lynch.
Riddle's then-wife, Lisa, made a social media post with some disparaging comments about the female WWE superstars' bodies and singled out Becky Lynch to make her point. The post did not sit well with Seth Rollins, who made it clear to WWE that he was not open to working with Riddle.
However, the two superstars sorted things out after Riddle apologized to Rollins backstage, which led to the two superstars letting bygones be bygones to work together in an entertaining feud in mid-2022. They had three matches during their rivalry, including a Fight Pit match at Extreme Rules 2022 with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier as the special guest referee. Despite being the heel, Rollins emerged victorious in the rivalry after a successful United States Championship defense against Riddle on the 17 October 2022 episode of Raw.
