10 Bands Synonomous With WWE
7. Puddle Of Mudd
2001 to 2004 were the prime years of "Wrestle-Rock" where emerging bands were given exposure on WWE programming and the labels of "Nu Metal" or "Grunge Rock" were replaced with more wrestling-centric ones.
Puddle Of Mudd fell into this category after they provided the theme song for 2001's Survivor Series with Control. By having their music on WWE television, they were put in the same company as many of the other names on this list and enjoyed greater success for it.
Three years after Survivor Series, the band wrote the theme tune for another Big Four event when Nothing Left to Lose became the anthem for the Royal Rumble. After another three year break, the song Famous was used for One Night Stand 2007. By providing three songs, two of them linked to the biggest events of the year, Puddle of Mudd became a WWE band in the minds of countless fans.
