8. Best - Shinsuke Nakamura (Survivor Series)

Shane McMahon ordering his 'Team Blue' acolytes to lay waste to the Monday Night Raw roster as inter-show hostilities kicked off Survivor Series silly season summed up how hollow a concept brand loyalty really was. It was admirable of some superstars to get into the spirit of things on fight night itself though, particularly when it involved completely adjusting your entire colour scheme to suit the story. By ditching his red and black togs in a show of SmackDown solidarity, Shinsuke Nakamura was briefly the coolest man in the world again.

The main roster has taken its toll on the 'King Of Strong Style's killer aura, ill-equipped as it is to preserve the less-is-more presentation Nakamura relies upon. As a bored face in the crowd during the blue brand's Monday Night charge, the divisive #UnderSiege segment didn't do much to reverse the trend.

His brilliant blue palette reflected brand loyalty up front though, as well as an inner comfort and bravery with his current position on the roster. It's a shame the same couldn't be said for the man with more job security than perhaps any single performer in company history...
